Shiva As Phallic Symbol:
Shiva, in temples is usually found as a phallic symbol of the 'linga', which represents the energies necessary for life on both the microcosmic and the macrocosmic levels, that is, the world in which we live and the world which constitutes the whole of the universe. In a Shaivite temple, the 'linga' is placed in the center underneath the spire, where it symbolizes the naval of the earth.

I like the last four pictures a lot. It was just one thing which should have been changed to "kailashnath mahadev" and if possible also in some there should've been a caption below kailashnath mahadev "world's tallest lord shiva statue". 143 feet high located in Nepal. If this editing could be made I would be more than happy. And one more request if you could mention your blogs URL in the side instead of it being in the centre as it is spoiling the image. It should be on the right upper corner or the left lower corner.looks more professional you see. If possible.
